What we offer for supported employees
AFFORD has six (6) ADE sites across Greater Western Sydney, offering employment to over 500 people with disability. Modern efficient factories offer a wide range of services including packaging, labelling, promotional packing, shrink wrapping and Pick and Pack services. AFFORD has a dedicated scanning business specialising in high volume document capture and retrieval and also run a separate commercial pallet and crate business at a specialised factory at Minto. AFFORD has also commenced recycling e-waste at Campbelltown.The contribution we make to the ADE community
AFFORD provides supported employment to over 500 men and women with disability. Many AFFORD employees say that their work gets them out of the house and gives them a real purpose in life. They develop new skills, social networks and become contributing members of their local communities. AFFORD also run an extensive Transition to Retirement program for supported employees over the age of 55, which helps them to join a community group of their choice and develop new friendships and networks outside the workplace in preparation for a positive retirement.

Many AFFORD supported employees look to their jobs to provide a lot more than just a wage. Jobs provide a social network, regular outings and a chance to interact with a wide range of people and connect with the community. The families and carers of AFFORD employees know that the attend a workplace which provides the highest levels of Workplace Health and Safety at all locations. Australian Disability Enterprises are available at Minchinbury, Minto, Ingleburn, Marrickville, Campbelltown and Prestons. All AFFORD work sites are warm and welcoming, providing a happy, safe and inclusive work environment. Employees have increased self esteem and are encouraged to develop new skills and undertake formal educational qualifications.
