Tahune Fields is a respected producer of high quality fruit trees, stone fruit trees and root stock for the wholesale market across Australia. It currently grows in excess of 200,000 fruit trees per year. Tahune is involved in the development and management of new varieties and is a joint venture partner in a number of new varieties seeking international plant variety registration.

The contribution we make to the ADE community

Tahune Fields is located in the Huon Valley and is a major employer. There are no other Australian Disability Enterprises south of Hobart and Tahune provides a rare opportunity for people with disabilities to be part of a major horticultural enterprise.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

Tahune Fields provides employment and certificate training for supported employees to enable them to be effective and valued employees, with potential for work in the horticulture sector around Tasmania.
