My 15-year-old daughter looks forward to her regular visits to our local ADE with a group from her high school support unit. She has got to know many of the ADE employees and loves being there, but just as important, she’s learning work skills that will stand her in good stead when she leaves school. And who knows, she may end up following in the footsteps of many of their supported employees, who started out as work experience kids just like her.
