Activ is dedicated to providing a better life for people living with disability. We operate across the Perth Metropolitan area and regionally in Bunbury, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie. Activ provides meaningful employment to people with disabilities whilst meeting the needs of our commercial customers. Our Business Services provides our employees the dignity of work, increased quality of life and skills, socialisation and increased connectivity to others as well as providing respite for families. It provides the wider community a cost-effective service whilst increasing tax revenue generated from working family members not providing care and supported employees paying tax.
How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation
Activ offers supported employment, including case management, and has a person centred approach to service delivery enabling individuals to reach their goals. We provide meaningful employment to over 1040 people with disability, offering 1400 different work tasks across our varied lines of business. Work may be site based, in the community (Property Care) or at our commercial partner’s premises. Activ employees are provided with on-going workforce training and through our RTO (Registered Training Organisation), have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications. In addition, Activ can provide home/work transport service for eligible workers and a wide range of services in-house and/or referral to external services to meet whole of life needs.
