Brite Services offers supported training and employment. Brite Pak offers general assembly and packaging services. Brite Plants wholesale nursery and Brite Herbs supply exotic and Australian native plants and herbs.

The contribution we make to the ADE community

Brite Services is based in the City of Hume. We offer a supported employment service and vocational training to people with a disability. We have been delivering this service for over 37 years. Brite is the only ADE in the City of Hume. We employ 143 people who represent multiple Melbourne municipalities. For many of our employees open employment is not a viable option because of the level of individualized support they require. Brite offers appropriate support so that each person can be sustainably engaged in meaningful employment, contributing in part to a sense of purpose and self- value.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

Brite offers a sense of security to family/carers that their relatives have adequate and appropriate levels of support to sustain ongoing employment in a safe environment. Brite employees are provided with ongoing vocational and life skills training. Brite respects each person’s ability and contribution in the workplace, including those individuals who take on leadership roles. Brite provides the universal sense of purpose that being meaningfully employed offers. At Brite this translates into having a sense of pride and ownership of one’s workplace. Most importantly, working at Brite means belonging to a social community of long-term friendships beyond the familial unit.
