The contribution we make to the ADE community

With over 50 years’ experience, Civic Industries is the co-packing link in supply chains across Australia. Providing exceptional service, fast turn-around and high quality, Civic Industries specialises in product packing, transforming bulk stock into retail, wholesale or export packs. We are accredited to ISO 9001:2008, which ensures the highest levels of attention to detail and quality outcomes. Civic Industries is an Australian Disability Enterprise, employing around 100 adults with an intellectual disability and/or a mental illness. We uphold the principles outlined in the Disability Service Act and Disability Service Standards and implement Quality Management Systems certified by SAI Global.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

We employ about 100 adults with intellectual disabilities and/or a mental illness in our highly flexible production facility in the southern suburbs of Sydney. Civic industries strongly believes in assisting employees to continually build both their work and employability skills. All employees are assisted to devise and implement an individualised Career Plan to achieve their personal and employment goals, dependent entirely on the individual and their abilities. Goals are realistic, achievable, monitored and time framed and everyone is encouraged to build their work skills, incorporate participation in the community and training programs. Our supported employees are valued, highly motivated, fairly rewarded and assisted to develop their skills and social network.
