What we offer for supported employees

Our laundry provide a full laundry service to medical centres, hotels and sporting clubs as well as the general public at our shop front facility.

The contribution we make to the ADE community

Our employees with a disability undertake paid employment on a productivity and competency based wage. They learn skills in laundry work, using washing machines and dryers and ironing. Some learn how to enter invoices on the computer and dealing with the public they learn work ethics and how to be a great team member. Many are members of local clubs and join in community activities as valued members of the local community. Employees at our ADE's can also join our travel program and be assisted to save for fully supported holidays.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

As an employee of Elouera Laundry, individuals can work part time or full time, this allows in many cases other family members to also return to the workforce. The most common comment we hear from families is how much more confident their family member has become and how they love going to work. Employment is important to everyone, its about more than just wages, its about belonging, being part of a team, gaining skills and contributing economically to ones family.
