Elouera Recycling processes kerb side collection from Cootamundra, Junee, Coolamon and Gundagai plus commercial collections from numerous shops. We also operate the weigh bridge and transfer station in Cootamundra

The contribution we make to the ADE community

Our employees with a disability undertake paid employment on a productivity and competency based wage. They learn skills in what materials to sort, how to use the weigh bridge and pressing equipment. Some learn forklift operations gaining their licence and more importantly they learn work ethics and how to be a great team member. We operate the recycling five days a week but we also manage three tip sites seven days a week with a number of employees undertaking weekend work independently.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

As an employee of Elouera Recycling, individuals can work part time or full time, this allows in many cases other family members to also return to the workforce. The most common comment we hear from families is how much more confident their family member has become and how they love going to work. Employment is important to everyone, its about more than just wages, its about belonging, being part of a team, gaining skills and contributing economically to ones family.
