The contribution we make to the ADE community

GDP industries works with the Department of Justice in Geelong by offering their clients a light industrial environment, working along side people with disability and at the same time fulfil their community service commitments. We also offer work experience to students who may wish to become part of GDP Industries or those wishing to enter into the disability field. We have been working with the Justice Department and the various schools in the Geelong Region for a number of years and our working relationship is very strong. Our service offers individuals through networking opportunities for meaningful participation and active inclusion in society.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

Our organisation is classified as a light industrial factory, which offers a range of work suitable for people with disability. GDP Industries services and supports are assessed, planned, delivered and reviewed to build on individual strengths and enable individuals to reach their goals. We work with families, friends and carers to promote opportunities for meaningful participation and active inclusion in society. We promote individual rights for freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making and actively prevent abuse, harm, neglect and violence.
