What we offer for supported employees

The Property Care Team is Manjimup Shire's supported workforce that undertakes quality horticultural services that include lawn/turf care, garden bed construction, renovation and maintenance as well other horticultural associated services.

The contribution we make to the ADE community

The nature of work undertaken by the Team is similar to that provided by the Shire's Parks and Gardens Department. As such the Team are providing quality horticultural services to local businesses, industries and residents with a focus of being not for profit and community based customer service.

How supported employees and their families benefit from our organisation

The  supported employees are best served through regular activity involving skilled and meaningful everyday work that allows direct contact with customers and community. The Property Care Team are well regarded and supported by the community. Being an ADE allows the Shire of Manjimup to provide employment to the Property Care Team allowing them and their families to continue to live and work in Manjimup.  This inturn provides a better environment for people with disabilities to enter our workforce.
